We are looking for artists to join our team. In particular:

Concept artists
- make concepts for characters, guns and combat gear, vehicles, machines and environmental props
- be able to produce high quality concepts useful for 3d artists (at first general concepts, then turnarounds)
- be creative and eager to submit own ideas that work well with our vision
- understanding of male and female anatomy, body proportions (characters)
- understanding of mechanic designs (usability) (mech, robotics)
- understanding of perspective, light and shadowing (for environment artists it's a must)
- tools: traditional art and/or digital: Photoshop, Gimp, Painter

(TEMPORARLY CLOSED!!!)3d artists - modelers, animators(TEMPORARLY CLOSED!!!)
- environmental artists - houses, street props, etc.
- characters, guns and combat gear, vehicles, machines
- be able to work from concepts - reference images and turnarounds
- good imagination (fill what's missing on concepts)
- sculpting hipoly models and baking them to lowpoly with normal maps will be a plus
- tools: any 3d software that can export to OBJ and MD5 (plugins) (TEMPORARLY CLOSED!!!)


2d artists
- texture artist - PRIORITY: producing textures and unwrapping models
- UI artist - designing menus and logo

Level designers (mostly urban)
- design and produce levels using delivered assets and tools
- cooperate with programmers (feedback) on level editor development

Webmaster
- design, produce and maintain our website
- HTML+CSS/PHP is a must,
- MySQL/FLASH is desired
- possibly integrate and manage our social media accounts
- SEO will be a plus

Musician/SFX specialist
- produce various ingame sounds
- produce background music
- direct/produce voiceovers

Programmers
- Strong C/C++ skills
- Lua skills desired
- Good 3d math skills (vectors, quaternions, matrices)

We are working on story driven FPS game which is taking place in near future. We are in need for artists willing to make some urban levels, human(oid) characters, mechs, some firearms and combat gear. Also we are open to suggestions and new ideas, so you have plenty of artistic freedom. For more informations send us an email at flippedbox [ at ] gmail [dot] com. You will receive test task(s) that will prove you're man of actions, not words. This project is unpaid, so far we don't have much funds but we are decided to put commitment into it.

Target systems: PC/Windows
Gameplay type: single player

What we use:
- own inhouse engine and level editor
- shared dropbox account
- private forum
- library of existing assets (still growing)
- remote repository for source code
- management tool

You will be asked to sign an NDA after completing test task(s) and before entering our team (over 18's only).

Current team members:
- me: project coordination, code, from time to time 2d/3d art, other things,
- 1 x programmer
- 4 x concept artist
- 6 x 3d artist/modeller
- 2 x sound designer/musician

What you gain:
- experience
- you can use your works on portfolio (assets not breaching NDA, ie plot unrelated)
- be part of fun and original project (your name will me mentioned in credits)
- possible future compensation when project gets successful (we have in mind several funding scenarios)

If you like to apply you can register on this forum and give me a hint, so I could add you to "recruit" user group and you can get access to our tryout task list. After completing one of those taks with satisfying results you will be promoted to "dev team" user group and get permission to other private subforums (+ I will give you access to our shared dropbox folder).
